The pendentives include four unidentical holy messenger figures. It is trusted that these one headed six winged blessed messengers (seraphim) secure the Lord’s Throne in Heaven. The heavenly attendants highlighted in the East are made out of mosaics while the two in the West have been harmed amid the Eastern Roman time frame and have been recharged as fresco.
The essences of angel figures highlighted on the pendentives were concealed with star formed metallic covers amid the Ottoman time frame. Amid the mosaic remodels in 2009, the tops covering the heavenly attendant figures’ countenances were opened and uncovered.
